3rd Grade "Evening with the Authors" a Great Success

On Tuesday, April 13th, 3rd grade students, parents, guardians and teachers came out to the newly renovated KES library to attend Evening with the Authors! The event consisted of students reading their published pieces to family and friends (and of course, food.) The media center was humming with the sounds of student voices, laughter, and lots of clapping--way to go, 3rd grade! We are all very proud of the hard work you put in to making your writing successful!

Haiku Writing

On Monday, the students of room 122 enjoyed Haiku writing out in the courtyard. We used the spring afternoon as our writing inspiration. Check out the video!
